DR. REBECCA SCOTT, PEDIATRIC DENTIST
It’s no secret that Dr. Becky loves working with children and caring for animals. She earned her BA in Zoology from the Miami University in Oxford, OH, then decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and go to dental school and received her DDS degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2001. Her specialty training includes her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry Pediatric Residency Program in Omaha, NE. About two years ago Dr. Becky brought her two passions together when she added Maizie, our therapy dog, to the team!
If you see Dr. Becky out in the community you may find her cheering on her kids at sporting events, grabbing tea at Starbucks, or buying food for her goats, chickens, and horses at the local feed shop. Dr. Becky has a kind and caring demeanor with a smile that warms your heart.
Dr. Becky is an avid learner and continues to grow in her profession to give her patients and families excellent dental care. She advocates for improved dental health care at a state level and is a member with multiple dental associations.
Miss Maizie, CACG, Head of Smiles and Wags
Meet our certified therapy dog, Maizie! Maizie is specially trained to provide comfort, affection and support to ease stress, anxiety and fear your child may have during their dental visit. Maizie loves to give hugs and kisses, chase balls and goats and cuddle with her human family and friends. Maizie and the entire team at Lincoln Children’s Dentistry look forward to providing a fun and positive dental experience for your child! Maizie has earned the AKC Advanced Canine Good Citizen and AKC Community Canine titles through many hours of training with the great team at Domesti-Pups.
